The D.C. Department of Transportation will startg designing a network of charging stations acrossw the city to align with agrowingv bike-sharing program, which is expanding from 10 to 100 kiosks in the next 18 City officials say they are working with , an electric energy technology company based in Monrovia, Calif., to develop the chargin stations. There are also plans to bring in Nissanelectrixc cars, equipped with advanced lithium-ion batteries that can go 100 milees on a single charge.
